Head of Training for Enfield Counselling Service BPC accredited training course.
The ideal applicant will be a registered BPC Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist with at least 5 years post qualifying experience. Alternatively applicants will need be of an equivalent standard of clinical practice registered with CPJA.
Applicants will be efficient and well organised and willing to comply with the administrative requirements and procedures of the organisation. It would be helpful if they could produce their own correspondence, and produce in typed format, reports and recommendations within the service. The applicant will have experience of chairing meetings with an ability to hold and manage the differing priorities colleagues may offer in respect to training.
Working as part of the Counselling Service
Applicants are required to work and liaise with other members of the service where necessary. They are expected to seek consultation on clinical matters where appropriate with the Clinical Director.

We are recruiting for an experienced Psychodynamic Supervisor to provide supervision on a self-employed basis to a group of up to four counsellors, including some counsellors in training. The training leads to registration with British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) as a psychodynamic counsellor.
The supervision groups meets each Wednesdays and Thursday afternoons time to be negotiated
The fee is £60.00 per session. Supervisors are required to offer 42 supervision sessions per year and also to attend three training committee meetings per year on a Saturday morning, remunerated on a pro rata basis.
Evidence of extensive individual long-term counselling or psychotherapy practice is a requirement.
Training in supervision is an advantage.

Aims of the Certificate Course
This module will help participants to become familiar with the way in which contemporary
counselling and psychotherapy is in the process of turning towards “Brief Therapy” as a
preferred mode for some areas of casework.
This Course is intended for qualified practitioners (counsellors, psychotherapists) who are interested
in Brief therapy in a variety of contexts.
