Contemporary Winnicott – Online Seminars 2027

Contemporary Winnicott – Online Seminars 2027

Discover why Donald Woods Winnicott remains one of the most influential figures in psychoanalytic thought.

With Simon Good, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist UKCP, BPC

We will read and discuss papers by leading psychoanalytic writers including Jan Abram, Thomas Ogden, Christopher Bollas and others, exploring themes such as the surviving object, the role of the father, creativity, play, transitional phenomena and other fascinating concepts that continue to influence contemporary clinical practice.

Whether you are a psychotherapist, counsellor, trainee, or simply interested in psychoanalytic thinking, this series offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding of one of the most influential figures in modern psychoanalysis. Some familiarity with Winnicott’s work will be helpful, but it is by no means essential. Curiosity, openness and a willingness to engage with the readings are the only prerequisites.
